How To Create A Custom Windows XP, Vista or 7 Desktop Icon

This video is brought to you by: http://pcmichiana.com This video will show how to create a custom desktop icon for the Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems. The great thing about icons is that there are plenty of them out in the internet to download and convert to a Windows compatible icon. The trick to icons is that they must follow the standard ICO platform specified by Windows in order to even be an option when you choose to change it. Custom icons can be downloaded anywhere on the internet. This video will discuss my favorite method, which is to use the Google search engine to search for an icon you can create into a compatible Windows XP, Vista or 7 icon that can be used at any time. You could even choose to bundle all of these icons into a group of icons for your own personal library to share with friends or family. In fact, if you were so inclined, and so geeky, you may even throw a custom icon party and invite all of your friends and acquaintances over. At said party, you could even let everyone know that it was the brilliant people over at The PCMichiana Tech Help Show who trained you to be so epic. You may even start a trend with all of the local neighborhoods which eventually leads t world peace. Who knew creating custom icons for the Windows operating system could have such a dramatic and positive effect on the human race? I certainly didn't. So let's get on with the show!
