Unboxing Western Digital AD2500AAKX 250 GB SATA Hard Drive

This video is brought to you by: http:/// Today's video is an unboxing of the following: Western Digital AD2500AAKX 250 GB SATA OEM Hard Drive Hard drives have literally become dirt cheap. It's official, there is no way to even try to overspend on hard drive space these days... for standard hard drives. I suppose you could overspend by buying an oversized Solid State drive, but I don't think people who use those drives are quite that spend happy. I digress... hard drive vendors are difficult to trust. Really the only way to make sure you are purchasing a reliable hard drive is to read reviews. It seems that every time Western Digital releases a great hard drive they also release 5 or 10 piles of junk along with them. It's not just limited to western digital, it includes all vendors. This hard drive has a SATA 6.0 GB/s interface, which is the best you can get outside of a solid state drive. The reason it is often chosen over a solid state is because it is much more cost effective. Purchased Price: $38.99 + shipping Manufacturer: Western Digital Vendor: First impressions: This item came with everything you would expect from an OEM classified hard drive... which is just a hard drive. It is important to note the reason people purchase hard drives OEM is because they do not come with the cables or retail boxes and documents. This allows the vendor to charge less money for them.
