AlgTop14c: The Ham Sandwich theorem and the continuum (cont.)

We discuss the Borsuk-Ulam theorem concerning a continuous map from the sphere to the plane, and the Ham Sandwich theorem. One application is to show that the two dimensional and three dimensional affine spaces are not homeomorphic. This is the third video in the 14th lecture of this beginner's course in Algebraic Topology, given by Assoc Prof N J WIldberger at UNSW.
