I am MD Anderson_Millie Hast

Millie Hast firmly believes everyone is a customer, whether patient, family member or colleague. In addition to her work administering programs for patients who have difficulty paying for their care, Millie makes time to teach and write about customer service. She also serves on MD Anderson's customer service committee. Her philosophy is to "greet everyone with a smile and a kind word, listen to them and do everything possible to help." Millie reminds employees that their responsibilities to our customers don't end when conversations are over. "Follow-up is crucial," she says. "Integrity means doing what you say you'll do, when you say you'll do it."
