http://www.creativeguitarstudio.com/ Andrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio answers a viewers question... Q: I have just watched your Reggae lesson on YouTube and it was awesome, especially that song at the end by your friend Glen Williams. He is amazing! I was wondering if you might be able to do another Reggae lesson covering Reggae 2nd guitar. Or, I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think I've heard this called, "Doubling." It sounds a little like the bass part usually, but just played higher up. I love Reggae guitar playing and would freak out if you could make another Reggae video lesson on this topic! - Thank you, Trae, Canberra, Australia A: Reggae rhythm guitar is taken very seriously by Reggae musicians. And, the lead player might be best off being called the 2nd guitarist! When I first started playing around town with reggae musicians it took me a lot of practice to develop the Reggae rhythm style. Luckily I had met some excellent players, who really took their time to teach me how to nail the Reggae groove.
