NASA | NASA selects OSIRIS-REx as New Frontiers Mission

OSIRIS-Rex will visit asteroid 1999 RQ36 and return with samples that may hold clues to the origin of the solar system and life on Earth. For the mission, NASA has selected the team led by Principal Investigator Dr. Michael Drake from the University of Arizona. NASA GSFC will manage the mission.
