The Milky Way's Collision Course with Andromeda

Complete video at: UC Berkeley Astronomy Professor Chung-Pei Ma shows how spiral galaxies occasionally merge with one another, which, she says, will eventually happen to our own Milky Way Galaxy when it collides with the Andromeda Galaxy. ----- This program was recorded at the 12th Annual Wonderfest, the San Francisco Bay Area Festival of Science.
