Andrew Ross is executive foreign and national editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, and reporting from the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Central America. Previously, he was an assignment editor for KPIX-TV, the CBS affiliate in San Francisco, and news director for public television station KQED. He has also reported for National Public Radio and written for the London Times, Manchester Guardian, Redbook and Good Housekeeping.
