One California TV Anti-Tax Ad Imitates Another

Republican Pete Wilson was elected governor of California in 1990 in the midst of a budget crisis. In 2006, incumbent Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger used a very similar ad - a list of taxes his opponent Democrat Phil Angelides allegedly wanted to raise. (Schwarzenegger won.)
