James Nachtwey on Dangers in Covering War in African conflicts

Photographer James Nachtwey begins his career in 1976 with a New Mexico newspaper. Moving to New York in 1980, he becomes a magazine photographer, working for Black Star, Magnum Photos and Time magazine. Nachtwey's photographs include conflict and social issues in El Salvador, the Middle East, Somalia, Rwanda, South Africa and Bosnia.
