Greg Chick, Ramona's Plumber, shows how to repairing broken PVC pipe where there is limted space and pipe movement available, by using a compression fitting. This particular method is limited to low pressure situations such as irrigation distribution lines to the sprinkler heads - not water main or water supply lines. Though there are compression fittings available that can handle high pressure, that's for another video. The compression fitting does not require a solvent joint, as so it is great for situations where the repair area is flooded. See the other PVC joining videos for additional methods.
