When producing with virtual instruments it's a good idea to use their multiple output routing option to help save CPU power especially if your running a large session. This also means you can treat the kick, in the case of a drum kit, for low frequencies without having to compromise the sound and shape of the other parts of the kit. To route drum samples from Impact to their own channels within the Mixer in PreSonus Studio One 2 Professional: 1. Open Impact by click and dragging the instrument onto the Arrange View from the Browser. 2. Route each sound to a mono or stereo output from the drop down menu located below each pad. 3. New outputs are created if the output did not already have a channel open on the Mixer. 4. Now each sound is routed to it's dedicated channel within the Mixer and can processed separately.
