Tech Tip: How To Convert, Reference And Transfer Audio Files | WinkSound

Subscribe to WinkSound: http://bit.ly/WinkSoundSubscribe As much of today's musical collaborations happen remotely it's important to have a solid work flow when referencing and transferring audio files between artists, players and producers. In this video DJ Fresh Direct goes over three very productive Mac apps to help you convert, reference and transfer audio files easily and effectively. The first app is called XLD. A lossless decoder which converts your audio bounces into high bit rate MP3 amongst other popular file formats for easy sharing. Once the audio file has been converted Vox is a great app to use to reference the new audio file to ensure it will be compatible with the target play back system. Options for choosing a sound card mean you can drop into any studio and quickly reference any audio file. Finally Cloud is a light app which makes file transferring simple and effective.
