Both economies are becoming global giants and because they are heavily regulated, policy directions in both have a huge impact on the global oil and gas markets. The presence of multiple government-owned oil and gas companies, as well as the private sector in India, and with significant power in the hands of the provincial governments in China, the decision-making process remains complex, and at times, mystifying. Dr. Fesharaki will review the short- and long-term strategies being adopted and the implications for the oil and gas business.
