ECG Library Supplement (Hennager AP2 ECG Lab).mov

A 30m video to supplement our ECG laboratory in Anatomy and Physiology II at Kirkwood Community College. In this lab, we follow the outline established by the ecglibrary ( to determine if our ECGs are normal. This, essentially, involves excluding any abnormalities. In this video, I attempt to explain in a simple way (for pre-health majors) how changes in the ECG, from sinus rhythm, QRS axis, P wave, PR interval, QRS complex, QT interval, ST and T waves, can indicate heart malfunction. A copy of the diagrams used in this video can be downloaded at I greatly apologize for the poor audio and video quality. When you have young kids, money is better spent on them than on AV equipment. I will improve this video when I can get some better equipment. Till then, I still hope it is beneficial.
