Last Chance to see Magna Carta at the National Archives

March 1, 2011 is the last day visitors can see the 1297 Magna Carta at the National Archives in Washington, DC. The document will be taken off display for examination and re-encasement in a new space-age technology encasement (Info: http://www.archives.gov/press/press-releases/2011/nr11-63.html). Pieces of History Blogger Hilary Parkinson (http://blogs.archives.gov/prologue/) takes viewers on a tour of the current display and discusses how the exhibit will change when it returns to display in 2012.
