DESCRIPTION This film provides a brief glimpse of the funeral of Robert F. Kennedy (RFK), held at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. Footage includes a scene of President Lyndon and Mrs. Johnson arriving at the Cathedral, shots of Ethel and Edward Kennedy and other members of the Kennedy family, and ex-Supreme Court Justice and Ambassador to the United Nations, Arthur Goldberg. Although most of the footage is silent, there are two sound bites. The first is Edward Kennedy's reading of a quote from RFK: "Some men see things as they are and ask 'Why?' I dream things that never were and ask, 'Why not?'" The second is the choir's singing of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" as the clergy filed past the casket.
