The original release sheet reads: "TIROS" EYE IN THE SKY: "TIROS III" is launched successfully from Cape Canaveral and goes aloft as a hurricane tracker. Equipped with two television cameras that record pictures over a 500,000 square mile area, the satellite will be able to warn weatherman of the birth of hurricanes. Circling the earth at 500 miles the TIROS is expected to be in orbit for several years. ADENAUER IN SHOW OF UNITY: In a display of bi-partisan unity, Chancellor Konrad Adenauer visits West Berlin and Mayor Willy Brandt, his rival for Chancellor in the coming elections. His visit coincides with an increased flow of refugees from East Berlin who fear the border will be closed by the Communist authorities. KENNEDY GREETS PAKISTAN HEAD: At historic Mount Vernon, President Kennedy holds a state dinner on the lawn in honor of Pakistan President Mohammad Ayub Khan. This is one of the most important state visits this year - one of our good friends in Asia. OSTRICH FARMING IS TICKLISH: Farming in any form is a ticklish business - so you can imagine what it is when you go in for feather farming. Well, they've been raising ostriches for their feathers in South Africa for the past 100 years and they manage to hatch out a living. NEW ORLEANS HAILS NEW U-I FILM: The finals of a nation-wide contest to choose "Miss Tammy Teen Age" is a feature of the world premiere of "TAMMY TELL ME TRUE". A local gal - Myra Logan - makes good and is the star of a parade that precedes the first screening of the picture starring Sandra Dee, John Gavin and Virginia Grey. SPORTS SCOOT FOR THE HILLS - THEY'RE LOOSE: German scooter enthusiasts are not satisfied with a smooth, oval track, they take to the hills and fields to bounce with enthusiasm through a grueling scooter race that has them eating off the mantle.
