After more than a year of campaigning, beating out ten other candidates, and a failed run in 2008, Mitt Romney will finally become the Republican Nominee for President this week. It's a triumphant moment, to be sure. But despite the celebrations the week is sure to bring, many in the Republican party have shown only lukewarm feelings toward Romney. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker told us today (/on Monday -- not sure when this will be posted...) that Romney would be "a decent president" under any circumstances, but his Vice Presidential pick of fellow Wisconsinite Paul Ryan makes it clear Romney has the courage and readiness to be "exceptional."
