The series was executive produced by the television critic Steven H. Scheuer and Loomis Irish, Head of the Television and Radio Department at Brooklyn College. Scheuer is a renowned film and television historian who in 2007 co-author with his wife Alida Brill Scheuer, the "Pocket Guide to Collecting Movies on DVD" a title that was subsequently released as a Sony e-book.
