Shamata, or calm abiding, is a simple yet powerful meditation that helps cultivate mindfulness and allows one to calmly rest in the present moment . In this lesson Billy, a long time instructor at the Austin Shambhala Meditation Center, gives Jason Shamata instruction followed by some Q&A. Proceeds will go to benefit the ASMC.
