First, Professor Berger gives you an overview of polar and rectangular coordinates. Then, you will learn how to convert a polar cordinate (r, Theta) into a rectangular coordinate (x, y), using the equations x = rcosTheta and y = rsinTheta. To convert from rectangular to polar, you will use the equations r = root(x^2 + y^2) and Theta = arctan (y/x).
