Oxford Brookes University Science Bazaar - Fun for all the family

The annual Oxford Brookes Science Bazaar is aimed at making the world of science fun for all the family. Topics range from the beauty of butterfly wings and floating flowers to the gory history of plagues. Activities included making spaghetti skyscrapers, designing and racing rocket cars and creating glorious goo, among others. There was even an opportunity to judge the 'Disgustovision Show' - to vote for the most horrible everyday objects when seen super-close under Brookes' giant microscopes. The bazaar was publicised by Dr John Runions, also known as Dr Molecule, in his latest radio interview on BBC Radio Oxford.
