I wanted to take a moment to show you guys some of the basics of origami folding. I personally don't remember all the fancy names for the folds, I also see them mentioned by their Japanese names in books here and so it just gets all confused in my head. I try to say the name of the fold in some of my tutorials, but usually I wind up just saying, "like so..." I apologize if you are a die-hard origami fan that knows all about his/her blintz and water bomb bases. Here are a few quick tutorials to show you some of the more common folds and bases.
