Star Spin - Earth Rotates Under Starry Sky 720p HD Composite Time Lapse

The Earth spins on its axis relatively fast, but is barely perceptable to the naked eye. Through the magic of time lapse photography, the apparent motion of the heavens created by Earth's spin is recorded in these 1686 real images of an entire night's sky, photographed every 21 seconds then composited into one moving image. Polaris was specifically targeted to show the center of rotation overhead. These images were shot in Santa Clarita, California, with a Canon SX10-is, 20 second exposure, f2.9, ISO-400 The soundtrack is "Sky Spy" (Alt-Rev Mix2 RR) from the StarSpin EP/CD by Technician (yours truly).
