White-Streaked Silkmoth female gets active after mating

This mating pair of White-Streaked Silkmoths (Saturnia albofasciata) was hand-paired in the lab and has been together nearly an hour at this point. The female is getting restless (or annoyed by something) and tries to fly away, but the male has other ideas and hangs-on tight! The vibrating action is necessary to warm-up the insects' flight muscles, otherwise they will not function well enough to achieve flight.
