SpaceX has completed a "Wet Dress Rehearsal" on its Falcon 9 rocket for NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) demonstration flight to the International Space Station on Space Launch Complex-40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The rocket was hoisted into position on the launch pad on Feb 29, and the test began in the morning of March 1 with loading of propellants aboard the launch vehicle. A complete set of tests also was performed. The exercise was completed by mid-afternoon. SpaceX is one of two companies under contract with NASA to provide cargo resupply of the International Space Station. The Falcon 9 with a Dragon capsule on top is targeted to launch to the station in late April.
