Station Commander Discusses Life in Space with Coast Guard Students

Expedition 30 Commander Dan Burbank discussed life and work aboard the International Space Station with cadets at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., during an in-flight question and answer session Jan. 24. Burbank, a retired Captain in the U.S. Coast Guard, received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 1985, and from January 2007 to December 2009, he served as a Professor of Engineering at the Academy, where he taught astronomy, aerodynamics and engineering design.
