NASA Administrator Stresses Environmental Responsibility at Green Aviation Summit

In his keynote address at the Green Aviation Summit underway at NASA's Ames Research Center, Administrator Charles Bolden talked about the agency's "critical responsibility," to the flying public to develop environmentally cleaner and quieter aviation technologies with fewer delays for travelers. The two-day summit has brought together about 2000 experts from NASA, and other organizations, to discuss technologies that can help alleviate problems with issues like aircraft noise, emissions and fuel consumption.
