The crew that will launch aboard space shuttle Discovery on its STS-133 mission participated in a crew equipment interface test, July 9 and 10 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, Fla. During the test, the crew inspected mission hardware and flight equipment they will use in space during Discovery's last scheduled flight. The STS-133 crew members are Commander Steve Lindsey, Pilot Eric Boe, and Mission Specialists Alvin Drew, Tim Kopra, Michael Barratt and Nicole Stott. Discovery's launch is targeted for Nov. 1.
