The crew that will launch aboard space shuttle Discovery on its STS-131 mission participated in a crew equipment interface test, Jan. 8 through Jan. 9 at NASAs Kennedy Space Center, Fla. During the test, the crew inspected mission hardware and flight equipment that will be used in orbit. Discovery will carry the multi-purpose logistics module, Leonardo, filled with spare parts and supplies to the International Space Station. Discovery is targeted to launch March 18.
