A Third of the World in Three Rooms—Redesigning the Oceanic Galleries

Learn more about Oceanic art at the Met: http://www.metmuseum.org/Works_of_Art/arts_of_africa_oceania_and_the_americas Following an extensive three-year renovation, the Museums galleries for Oceanic Art reopened in November 2007. The newly redesigned space allows the Museum to display one of the worlds premier collections of the arts of the Pacific Islands.
