Update: This video was recorded in SketchUp Version 7. If you are using SketchUp Version 7.1 or later, the Add Location tool will import satellite imagery from Google maps, and the images will be in color by default. We decided to leave this tutorial up on YouTube, because it still covers a good amount of general information about working with textures. --------------------Yes, that Google Earth plugin is pretty awesome, except that the resulting black and white satellite imagery is so 1950. In this episode, Mike shows a new trick for getting the COLOR version of Google Earth's satellite imagery into Google SketchUp. This episode is a continuation of the IES Series (Episodes #51 & #52).
