The new MED-SEG system, developed by Bartron Medical Imaging LLC, a small Connecticut-based company with satellite offices in Maryland, relies on an innovative software program developed at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. This software was originally designed to analyze imagery of Earth, but soon will be doing much more.'
