ESA's Earth Explorers to safeguard our planet

Date- 29th June 10 Source- http://www.esa.int/esa-mmg/mmghome.pl 'The European Space Agency has now a flotilla of satellites observing the Earth, providing data on key fields to understand our planet's behaviour. The scientific results of ESA's Earth Observation satellites are regularly presented in a scientific conference now named the Living Planet Symposium. This meeting is being held in Bergen, Norway from 28 June - 2 July 2010. Here over a thousand scientists will hear about the status and initial results of ESA's first three Earth Explorer missions. These new satellites will provide key contributions to better understand the natural and man-induced global change as well as phenomena responsible for Earth's changing climate.'
