Data from space now support meteorology and climatology on a global scale and have greatly contributed to the awareness of the climate changes that today threaten the entire planet. To coincide with the United Nations Climate Change Conference, taking place in Copenhagen between 7-18 December, this film reviews the importance of ESA's Earth Observation missions, particularly that of the Earth Explorer spacecraft such as GOCE, SMOS and soon to be launched Cryosat, and looks forward to the Sentinel programme.'
