Aquarium Saftey First Drip Loops and Power Surge Protectors

Aquarium safety should be taken seriously, you are putting a lot of water right next to a lot of electrical and the two do not mix at all! Having an electrical problem in water could be life threatening if conditions meet the right circumstances. there are a couple different ways you can prevent electrical problems, one you can install drip loops which are a loop in the cord so water has to go down hill and fall off the cord due to gravity and cannot enter back up hill to get to the power cord, all aquariums or anything dealing with water should have a drip loop. also i went out and bought the first of many power surge protectors i will get for my aquariums this will protect the aquarium and fish from electrical problems if something ever goes wrong, its a little more money to spend but it is totally worth the safety of keeping your outlets going, and your aquarium equipment going if there is ever a problem in the aquarium. don't take it for granted and think this will never happen to you, i have been shocked a couple times from lights getting water in them or something like that. be safe guys comment rate and subscribe, and god bless.
