Drywall patches: applying a 2nd coat of quickset...?
http://www.VideoJoeKnows.com Drywall patches: applying a 2nd coat of quickset?....is it really necessary? "Joe" always applies 2 coats of quickset to his drywall patches.....they just come out better when you apply a 2nd coat, plain & simple. If the first coat of quickset, over your drywall patch, is not even, lumpy, or a nice full coat, &/or smooth, you're looking for trouble if you don't apply a 2nd coat. Especially over drywall patches, "joe" uses a self adhesive webbing tape before applying the quickset. If "joe" only applies one coat of quickset, then the webbing tape usually does not get nicely coated as well as "joe" would like, without applying a 2nd coat. For that reason alone, "joe's" patches come out looking good.....time after time after time. Let's watch as "joe" applies a 2nd coat of quickset over his drywall ceiling patch. The more you watch....the more you learn! http://www.VideoJoeKnows.com
