Attaching a wood trim piece to a hardwood floor: don't do it......."Why not?......the wood trim piece I want to install down next to the baseboard on the hardwood floor, is easier to nail straight down or at an angle, since I don't want to scratch the floor when I am attaching the wood trim to the baseboard......now you're telling me I can't do that. I want to know why. Everytime I do something, there seems to be a roadblock in my way like this attaching a piece of wood trim directly down to my hardwood floors. It doesn't make any sense."
