In this video, I review how to write square roots in simplest radical form. I review the conditions that must be fulfilled to ensure the expression is in simplest radical form. Also, I review how to multiply and divide square roots. Finally, I model how to rationalize a denominator (that means to get rid of a radical in the denominator of a fraction). I use this lesson to support my students when studying the geometric and the relationships involved with the Altitude of a Right Triangle Theorem.
