Chorus Effect - Pro Tools 9

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: The chorus effect adds a blurring, slightly out-of-tune sound to a track. It comes from the concept of a choir; because there are multiple voices, not everybody is right at pitch and the timing is slightly blurred. Directions First, open up a Pro Tools session with tracks. In the mix window, decide on the track you'd like to add the effect to. In its channel strip, click on an empty insert section and select? plug-in--Modulation--AIR Chorus (mono). The chorus effect window will open. Chorus Effect Window As with the other plug-ins, the chorus effect window contains ways to modify the parameters of the effect. There are multiple presets and knobs. Here are the main chorus parameters you should know: Rate:?The faster this is, the shakier and more out of tune the chorus will sound. The slower the rate is, the slower the chorus will sound, giving it a swaying sound. The rate control is in all chorus effect plug-ins. Depth:?This controls how out of tune and back in tune the chorus gets. A low depth is slightly out of tune, and a high one is very out of tune. The depth control is in all chorus effect plug-ins. Mix:?This is the percentage of the effect happening on the track. You can add less or more of it. Read more by visiting our page at:
