Tea Party Zombies Video Game

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: Fox News and the Huffington Post are reporting on a New York-based video game developer that has set its virtual crosshairs on Republican and conservative political figures in a game called "Tea Party Zombies Must Die," which allows players to walk around Fox News and destroy politicians like Michele Bachmann, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin. The gruesome game, created by StarvingEyes Advergaming, is billed as "first-person shooter" featuring "Tea Party zombies" to be targeted with an "arsenal of weapons," including multiple firearms and a crowbar. Notable politicians depicted in the game include current and previous presidential hopefuls like Palin, Bachmann, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum. Several Fox News personalities are also featured, including Huckabee, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Glen Beck. Beck himself talked about the new game on his radio program on GBTV. The conservative pundit said: "Here's a video game where they are actually objectifying, just making us into objects, not people, and then showing the barrel of a gun as if you're holding it and then shooting us. This is one of the most violent things I've ever seen, where you're walking in -- you're the zombie hunter and you're walking in the front door of FOX News and you're shooting me and Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann and Sean Hannity, you're just shooting all of us or you're cutting us in half with a machete." So what do you think? Is a violent video game based on a real people all in good fun? Or is it in poor taste and a potential cause of real life violence? Leave a comment below and let us know.
