Rock Singer's Home Ruined in Hurricane

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach is reeling from the loss of his New Jersey home due to flooding and damage caused by hurricane Irene. "I am numb, in shock, & devastated to report that my home of 21 years ... has been destroyed, condemned, & deemed uninhabitable," the rocker posted on Facebook Sunday along with a picture of the damage. Bach's house was knocked off its foundation after a nearby reservoir overflowed, breaking the bridge next his home and sending it into his garage. Lost in his flooded basement were irreplaceable items such as Skid Row master tapes, a KISS pinball machine and other band memorabilia, but it appears he'll be able to salvage the possessions he kept on higher floors in his home. While Bach's house is no longer habitable, he says he knows that it could have been worse. "What makes me happy is that my children & ex wife are safe...No one got hurt," he added on Facebook. Bach goes on to say that he'd been holding on to the house since he filed for divorce from his wife of 18 years in December. The singer plans to start over in Los Angeles. "I will always love New Jersey but now there is literally nothing left for me here except memories of a past life," he concluded. "Hello, Los Angeles. Hello, New Life. Here I Am. It's time for a new start. Like I have a choice." http://www.facebook.com/sebastianbach http://www.eonline.com/news/sebastian_bach_devastated_after/260730 http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20523937,00.html http://www.sebastianbach.com/updates.html http://www.tmz.com/2011/08/29/sebastian-bach-house-destroyed-skid-row-kiss-hurricane-irene-new-jersey-flood-water-basement-collection-memorabilia/
