Start by creating a new document and filling the background layer with black. Grab the Text Tool and type some text in the middle of your blank document. 2. With your text layer selected, click on the fx button at the bottom of the Layers panel and choose Blending Options from the menu that appears.? 3. This will bring up the Layer Style dialog box so you can start creating different effects. The first thing you'll want to do is change the Color Overlay to a gold color. Change the Blend Mode for this option to Multiply. 4. Next, apply an Inner Shadow. Adjust the Angle to something like 120 degrees and the Opacity to 75%. Set the Distance to 5 pixels and Size to 3 pixels.? 5. Apply a Gradient Overlay and change the Blend Mode to Hard Light under this style setting. Set the gradient Style to Linear and change the color to gold, white, gold by customizing it. 6. The next style you'll add is Stroke. Keep your Structure Size at 3 pixels, set the Position to Inside, set the Blend Mode to Normal, drop the Opacity to 85% and keep the Fill Type set to Color. Make sure the color you see in the box is black. 7. You'll also want to add Bevel and Emboss. Set the Style to Inner Bevel and the Technique to Chisel Hard. Change the Depth to 350% and the Direction to Down. Increase the Size to 16 pixels and change the Angle to 120 degrees.? Keep your Altitude at 30 degrees, change the Highlight Mode to Hard Light with the Opacity at 100% and set the Shadow Mode to Multiply with the Opacity at 90%.
