Getting Started To perform this exercise, you'll need a sturdy box that will hold your weight.? Place the box on the floor. Stand to the left side of the box. Place your right foot on top of the left side of the box.? Perform the Exercise Now that you're positioned on the box, you're ready to do the lateral push offs. * Begin with your right foot stepping on the left side of the box.? * Pushing up through the heel of your right foot, jump up and over the box.? * Land your left foot on the right side of the box and keep it in place.? * Bring down your right foot on the floor next to the right side of the box.? * Make sure the left foot lands before the right one so that you can cross over the box.? * Jump to the other side by pushing through the heel of your left foot and crossing back over the box.? * Continue jumping back and forth over the box for three sets with about 15 repetitions.?
