How to Do the Thunder Clap Dance

Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: Part 1: Rock 1. Start with your left foot forward, your right foot slightly back. Lean your left shoulder forward, putting your head in line with your left knee. 2. Lean your right shoulder back, your back slightly bent. Then, lean your left shoulder back, straightening up. 3. Lean your right shoulder even further back, leaning your head back. Continue alternating shoulders while leaning further and further back, then go back to leaning alternating shoulders forward, leaning further and further forward. Part 2: Thunder Clap With this move, you're miming throwing lightning bolts. 1. Lean your right shoulder back, sticking your left arm out forward, palm facing right. Your right hand should be pointing upwards, elbow at your side. 2. Bring your left arm in and your right arm up. Continue these motions to skim slap your right hand with your left hand, then stick your right hand upwards and forward, palm forward. Your left arm should be crooked, elbow at your side, palm facing inward. 3. Reset your arms and do another skim slap. Don't be misled by the title of this move—the hand skim should not be a clap. It should be more of a skim out, like you're pointing where the lightning bolt should go. After practicing these two parts individually, try doing them both simultaneously. When your lef shoulder's going back, you should be doing the skim slap. After you've mastered this, try starting with your right foot forward.
