How to Do Pushaways

Getting Started This move is a great way to work on your core movements and core strength. It will also help you identify any areas where you may need additional strengthening. ? To do this move, you'll need to start off in a single leg squat position. First lift your left leg behind you, bending it at the knee. Now bend the right leg and bring your body down towards the floor.? Perform the Exercise Once you're in the single leg squat position, you can start doing pushaways.? * From the squat position, reach down to the ground in front of you, engaging your core muscles.? * Place your hands palm down on the floor. * Keep your anchor leg bent at the knee and balance on its toe. The other leg should still be bent up behind you.? Use your hands to push yourself back up from the ground.?* The exertion should bring your body back to the squat position. Don't come all the way to an upright stance.? * Keep both legs bent as you move up.? * Remember not to round your shoulders forward during the movement up or down.? * Repeat this movement 10 to 15 times on each leg.?
