Getting Started Start off lying on the floor flat on your back. Place your head between the ankles of a workout partner standing above you. Hold onto the partner's ankles by reaching your hands over your shoulders.? If you don't have another person to work with, you can hold onto a table or a heavy chair instead. You can also try spreading your arms straight out to your sides and laying them flat on the ground.? Raise both your legs off the ground and point them straight up from your hips. Perform the Exercise Now that you're in the starting position, you can begin doing windshield wipers.? * Start with both legs raised off the ground at a 90 degree angle from your hips.? * Rotate your legs together to one side by twisting your torso.? * Raise your legs back up to the top and then rotate them to the opposite side.? * Continue moving the legs from side to side like a windshield wiper for a full workout.
