To do a scissor step, start with your hands on your hips to help maintain your balance and do a?shuffle?with your right leg.? 2. First, brush forward with your right toe and spank backward with your right toe. 2. Now, brush out to the side in a diagonal fashion. 3. When you bring your foot back after the diagonal brush, do a?toe stand?starting with your right toe, followed by your left toe. 4. Once you're standing up on the tops of both toes, begin to step down by first hitting the ball of your right toe on the floor, then your right heel, followed by a full?stomp?with your left foot. 5. With your weight shifted, repeat these steps, starting with a brush out to the side with your left foot. *To do this combination really fast, don't perform the final stomp with your foot.
