Customize Your Keyboard Shortcuts and Settings - Final Cut Pro X

This will show the Command Editor, a large dialog box with a full on-screen keyboard. Each key on this keyboard is color coded, with each color representing a Command Group that can be set and customized. The top of the dialog box shows the four main command keys: Command, Shift, Option and Control.? Beneath the keyboard is a scrolling list of every command you are able to use in Final Cut Pro. Each one either does or does not have a series of modifier keys that allows you to access the command. Some of them don't have shortcuts, so you can either assign them or leave them alone depending on what is available and what you might need. This Command Editor box shows you everything you need to know about keyboard shortcut commands so you can be as fast and efficient as possible with your editing.
